All this information is easily researched on the internet for yourself.
Germany during Hitlers regime  adopted the (Northern European Heathen) Runic Symbols along with there Mystical and Esoteric meanings.
They were used to inspire a Nation. Which in it self is positive.
But not at the expense of or violating the human rights of others and the Sovereignty of other Nations.
They sought to revive the Ancient Past of Northern Europeans.
It's legendary Heroic Warriors,Teutonic Knights etc etc.
But sadly their inhumanity  has shed a negative connotation to some about Runic Symbols. This is unfair and grossly inaccurate.
Runic symbols are not and never were "Nazi" symbols. They adopted them. In fact the swastika originated in ancient Tibet. The swastika was around along time, Hitler did not invent it. He got the idea from the Thule Societies Emblem.

It is a very ancient religious and sacred symbol to many peoples. The swastika is a religious symbol of the worlds oldest religion "Jainism" it represents the four states of the existence of life. Research Jainism and be enlightened.
Jewelry with swastika's was even sold in this country years ago it was a fad.
Art, pottery, clothing and jewelry were adorned with this symbol and variations throughout Europe for centuries. It was the sign for power stations on maps.
Swedish-Swiss company ABB— used a swastika in its logo until the beginning of the 1930's. Swastikas were used in the air force signs of Finland and of Latvia from their independence following World War One and until the 1940's. The use of swastikas by the Finnish in their war of 1941-1944 against the Soviet Union and had nothing to do with their alliance with Germany. The Finns hated the Nazi's. Swastikas have been used in the Indus Valley, in Greece, Cyprus, Iceland, by the Lapps, in Ireland, Scotland, and England. The symbol arrived in Egypt about 2500 years ago.
The swastika is a symbol of the sun. It was a symbol of the most influential Gods (Zeus, Jupiter).  Among some Asian muslims, the swastika is a symbol for north/south/east/west and the four seasons, for some Chinese it is a "a collection of happy symbols, including thousands of good effects".
To learn more on the Origins of the Runes and how Germany used them there is a DVD titled "The Occult History of the Third Reich" by The War Zone. It explains a great deal about their use of these symbols.
So the next time an uneducated narrow minded person says that's a Nazi symbol tell them there is no such thing. Do some research and learn something new. It is not the symbol that is offensive, it's just a couple of crooked lines.
It's your actions under the symbol that count.

Charlemagne with the Christian Cross as his banner slaughtered tens of thousands of Pagan peoples with the Popes bless no less. Case in point King Olaf of Norways vicious forced Christianization and slaughter of the Norsemen is legendary. The Pope was so pleased that they made him a Saint. King Eric of Swedens campaign and slaughter of the Lithuanians to convert them and on and on. Now what is wrong with that picture? The horrific torturing that was done to people
that did not accept Christianity throughout History. Were their lives less valuable?
Is there a certain amount of years that invalidates these atrocities over others?
These people feared the cross as people feared the swastika of Germany.
Atrocities committed under the swastika and the Christian Cross.
We will never forget the horrors of Hitlers Regime for all time, and will keep it alive.
Just the same, all the horrors of torture and mass slaughter are just as valid
no matter when or where or who it happened too. Life is precious no matter who they are,
or how many people died in the name of religion or ideology.
The bible was used as a justification for slavery. Every war fought was for God and Country.
Using religion as a basis for their actions, such as the Crusades.
There are only a few faiths that did not slaughter people if they did not accept it
or adopt it as their faith. The Jewish Faith, Buddists and Heathens to name a few.
