Actually the horn does not need to be sealed or coated on the inside.
The Vikings sure didn't. Some people think it's not sanitary or
something.
If the horns have been boiled as they should, all that is
needed is to cure your horn
overnight filled with your favorite beer, ale, if you Got Mead that's
even better.
